Ted and Judy De Witt got their start out of their Rhinelander home in 1976. Ted De Witt has always loved having the opportunity of being able to provide a service to the community in which he resides and for the enjoyment of doing electrical work.
Our business was originally run out of our home in the town of Pine Lake. We felt that it was necessary to work in this location and eventually moved our business from our home office in 2003 to our in-town location off of Stevens Street on Menominee Drive where the second generation took over the management of the company. Our business has now expanded from Ted and Judy’s home to include a new company building with 10 employees and 6 service trucks.
The friendly people and the electrical services that we can provide Rhinelander and the surrounding areas are what makes Rhinelander so special. Everyone is willing to work together and we have made many friends from various generations in this area.
T.J. De Witt & Co., Inc. actively promotes continuing education and training for their employees to provide professional and quality electrical service to the Northwoods area.
The licensed electricians at T.J. De Witt & Company, Inc. stand by their work and maintain a commitment to energy conservation while providing energy savings and designs that fit our customer’s needs. Our company even has a 24/7 on-call service to help better serve our customers' needs.
Check Your Vents and Safe Snow Removal
Have you checked your gas vents recently and moved snow away from them? Blocked vents may trigger a safety switch and turn off your heating system. Natural gas may also build up inside your home or facility and create potential for carbon monoxide poisoning.
Smart Snow and Ice Removal:
Be sure snow you remove from the roof doesn't land on your meters. Snow buildup can damage meters and you may be responsible for repairs.
Be careful when removing snow from your meters. It is best to clear snow from meters with a brush or your hand. Never use sharp objects like shovels or ice picks.
